Start with the source
Before sharing personal information, check that you are dealing with the provider you intended to visit. Read the domain carefully, inspect the privacy information and find a clear support route. A familiar name in an advert is not proof that the destination is genuine.
Never share a banking password or one-time security code with a survey. If an invitation asks for information unrelated to research eligibility, stop and check the provider’s own guidance. Keep unique passwords for panel accounts and avoid reusing your main email password.
Watch for pressure
Promises of guaranteed high earnings, pressure to pay quickly or instructions to keep an offer secret deserve scrutiny. Screenshots of other people’s balances do not establish what you will earn. Read what a fee covers and do not assume that paying it makes you eligible for work.
Keep evidence
Save the terms you accepted, confirmation emails and relevant survey reference numbers. Use the provider’s official support channel if a reward is missing. This guide provides practical checks, not a certification of any named panel.
